General Hospital Casts Mysterious New Role

Spencer fans have been wondering what their anti-hero Luke will be up to during GH's latest large scale "event that will change Port Charles forever." Professional con artist, Luke Spencer, will be introduced to a new character when newcomer Nathan Parsons makes his debut the week of January 26th as fresh faced con artist Ethan, a recurring role. Parsons' first scene will be on the Haunted Star opposite 6-time Daytime Emmy Winner Tony Geary. Later, just as Ethan thinks he has gotten away with some major swindling, Luke unexpectedly turns the tables on him at a bar outside of Port Chuck.

Slowly, a kinship builds off of their rapport and an indifferent Luke begrudgingly begins to realize that he and this smart aleck may have more in common than he may want to admit. TVGuide wondered how much they have in common, and we can't help but ask as well. How long until Ethan is thrown together in a scene with Luke's man-eating daughter Lulu (played by Julie Marie Berman)? Has award winning casting director Mark Teschner done it again? It remains to be seen.

This would be GREAT - if Ethan were Robt. and Holly's son for ALL the RnH fans like me who've waited SO LONG for another Scorpio. Another reason to bring on the magic of Tristan R and Emma S (in character, please ) TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think he dosen't know which one is his father. Hopefully it will be roberts that pic is from luc and lauras wedding i believe. Holly returns this month, I think she will recodnize him even though he was given up for adoption when he was born.

Ethan mentioned Holly, have a picture of Robert and Luke, and asked Luke's question about Robert, and Luke said Robert were married to Holly..Oh Ethan has to be Robert&Holly, he just have to be.I have never been this excited about GH in years, All because I think od Ethan could be my favorite couple kid.please let's this happened.

I am excited that Ethan mentioned Holly today. I think he may be Robert and Holly's son after all. It would be a great nod to history. Plus, it would give Robin a half sibling.

it would be geat if he was robert and hollys kid because it is a core connection and robin could get some family to lean on

i also think it would be amazing if he was duke and annas long lost son and again robins brother

another great scenario would be if he was here looking for his dad MAC! hes austrailian too, we forget that! bubba gets a son and maxie gets a "brother" how fun would that be!

It could always be that the mysterious phone call in 1993 was her finding out about ethan. maybe she found him and we know she went to Aus because that is where bill tracked her down to.

2006-- you can barely count that as Holly, but at that point we have no idea why she didn't say anything, but that can all be a part of the story.

I'm totally in love with the idea of a Robert/Holly kid - huge fan of theirs - but Holly was in a coma in ENGLAND, not Australia; in '92 they said it was a car accident in England, not a plane crash in Australia as everybody believed in '87. Unless somebody stole the kid while she was in a coma (which was 2 years, right?) and took it to Australia, it wouldn't make sense. I guess her family could have done so as they never called Robert the whole time she was in the coma. Come to think of it, I hope they did that and she *doesn't* know about him; with all the serious damage they did to her character last time, I'd hate to see bad mother piled on top of it! Plus, she gave Anna hell for keeping Robin a secret, so we could add hypocrisy to all they did to her.

Making Ethan R&H's produced numerous storyline,Ethan's carry on the Scorpio name.he can give his older sis Robin and bil Patrick grief LOL.I can just see family dinner at the Scorpio/Drake's talk about hilarious scenes Ethan,Maxie,Spin,Matt,Robin,Patrick and if Ethan's date LuLu, bring her too, so we have the Spencers/Scorpios/Drakes the next generations all in one family it'd be would be crazy not to capatalized on this history.Ethan was great today I really see him as Scorpio.

The Scorpio family is a golden family from NS2 to scrubs wedding if there's one family in port charles that need expanded it's this one.They're the young "hip" family the 20'ish all in one family,you already have Robin sis and Maxie cousin, Patrick brother in law and now the only thing missing is a male heir it's So much potential with Ethan being a Scorpio, and If he somehow get involved with Lulu wow,that'll honor the Robert/Luke connection.I really hope he's Robert and Holly kid this is the first time I am actually exciting about something on GH.

I think the australian accent is what peaks my interest and make think he's Robert's son whether his accent is fake or not there are plenty of other accents to used why used the australian?..I think since they're using australian why not just let's the kid be Robert.Port Charles could used a young,male Scorpio in town,we already had young Baldwin, we have a young Spencer we have 2 young Drakes Michael and Morgan will carry on Corinthos,so how about a young, male Scorpio to carry on that name? It's make sense for Ethan to be Robert's son with Holly.I didn't think much of it in the beginning,I just didn't want Sonny to have anymore kids,he already have 3 kids,after reading the SID mag the kid has a aussie accent and connecting with Luke that got my full attention bigtime.This could be Robert's son with Holly.

I really, really hope Ethan is Robert and Holly's kid it'll be super cool because the Scorpios need to grow and Robin with a half-sibling? the storylines potential.

He's the right age because Holly were in a coma in 1987.

I always envisioned Robert's son being more like Luke, and Luke's son being more like Robert, see Lucky he's more like Robert a good guy, he even became a cop something Luke loathes LOL, and Robert would be seriously upset with a con artist as a son.See there's a story right there.

He's supposed to be Australian, right ? I heard that---and he's a con artist---come on---this is THE perfect set up to make him Robert and Holly's long lost coma child ! This kid so has to be Robert and Holly's son. The show needs a male Scorpio heir. It would be so cool to have Robin interact with a sibling that is so different from her and whose mother is Holly---and this would be good reason to have Robert and Holly come back for visits (and to write them in character rather than what they did in 2006).
