Judi Evans Luciano won't be reuniting with former co-star Wally Kurth when he makes his return to Days of Our Lives. The former DAYS actress has taken a role on CBS' As The World Turns, as Maeve. Information regarding her character is being kept hush hush for now but it is said the role is short term. "I'm looking forward to working with Chris Goutman (executive producer, who she worked with on Another World) again and I can't wait to see Julie Pinson (Janet; ex-Billie, DAYS). I miss her!"

Luciano was most recently seen on Days of Our Lives Adrienne Johnson Kiriakis (1986-1991; 2007-2008) and Bonnie Lockheart (2003-2007) from Days of Our Lives (1990-2008). She also appeared on other daytime soaps including NBC's Another World as Paulina Cory McKinnon Carlino from 1991 to 1999, and from 1983 to 1986, she portrayed Elizabeth Ann Raines on CBS' Guiding Light.

Evans appears in Oakdale as Maeve on August 26.

Also joining As the World Turns is soap veteran Lynn Herring. The veteran actress previously portrayed quirky librarian turned sex pot, Lucy Coe on ABC's General Hospital. She also portrayed Lucy Coe on the short-lived ABC soap, Port Charles. Herring's popularity on ABC daytime led many fans to speculate she would make her return to her roots, but according to Herring, GH never extended the invitation to return. "I always let GH know that Lucy was dear and near to my heart because that's been such a part of my whole life. I think a lot of people didn't realize that the producers weren't really interested in having Lucy back. They didn't contact me ..."

Lynn joins quite a few of her fellow ex-cast mates from Port Charles, including Jon Lindstrom (Craig; ex-Kevin, PC), Marie Wilson (Meg; ex-Karen, PC), and Julie Pinson (Janet; Ex Eve, PC). ATWT Executive Producer, Chris Goutman, didn't give Herring much information regarding her new role or the storyline she should look forward to.

The actress will be enjoying the best of both worlds as she will be commuting to the East Coast from her California horse ranch she shares with her husband, Wayne Northrop (ex-Roman, DAYS).

Herring's new role will be portraying Henry's (Trent Dawson) mom, Audrey. Her first airdate is July 24th.

As the World Turns
written by Emma-Emmie, October 25, 2009
How could I get a writing gig with As the World Turns? I am basically a filmwriter and would one day love to resurrect the old Cowboy show "THE BIG VALLEY". Jon Hensley is my pick to play the character "Heath". Where can I write the actors personally or have my Agent get in contact.
